A Northern Flicker woodpecker in my backyard. (southern Ontario, Carolinian forest ecosystem) I've never seen one before. I had to Google Lens it to figure out why a bird with the beak of a woodpecker was foraging in my backyard for soil invertebrates. #ornithology #birds #HamOnt
