And Mercury joining the fun of Jupiter and Venus! Just managed to capture her between the chimney pots 🙂 #astronomy #astrophotography
Last night I captured FOUR planets - two of which have been regulars for months and two that needed some decent detection! #astronomy #astrophotography
Awake at silly o'clock but there is a Moon up there and I spotted Saturn. So that's FOUR planets in one night! #astronomy #astrophotography

One more shot for tonight! Above Jupiter and Venus are the Gemini twins, Pollux and Castor. Currently, the gap between the two pairs is about equal! #astronomy #astrophotography

Jupiter and Venus in between the clouds. Heading towards a Super Conjunction, just 5 days away from their closest visible encounter! #astronomy #astrophotography @stormhour.com @photohour.bsky.social
Jupiter and Venus make their close (1.6 degrees) visual encounter on Tuesday evening. These planets 'chase' each other around the Sun and catch up every 12-15 months. In March 2023 they were actually just 0.45 degrees apart, just one Moon's width. #astronomy #astrophotography #conjunction
Tonight's Jupiter and Venus coupling in a dirty sky. Just 4 days to go when they'll be no more than 3 Moon diameters apart. That's 1.6 degrees! #astronomy #astrophotography @stormhour.com @photohour.bsky.social
Solar Activity is on the rise again! A brief sunny spell and a chance to check out Sunspot group AR4455 in the upper centre, currently 'unstable and explosive' Today's CME expected to reach us on Friday! #astronomy #astrophotography @stormhour.com @photohour.bsky.social
Jupiter and Venus part 2! You can now see the Gemini twins, Pollux and Castor just above as the light fades. #astronomy #astrophotography
