I’m a trans woman in my forties. Growing up without social media—and during Section 28—I knew nothing about transness and I knew no-one like me. I almost didn’t make it; I dread to think how many didn’t.
You can’t tell me that returning to this state is not an intended effect of this proposed ban.
When I was 15 I was using social media to learn about abortion rights, LGBTQ identity and history, and of course blog up to 8 hours a day about Supernatural. I demand the next generation have the same rights I did
