🚨 🚨 🚨 new publication (with @antonialang.bsky.social) klaxon!!!
Over the past decade, scholars have increasingly turned to “place” as a key factor in political behaviour — particularly on the far right, in Europe & the US. Urban-rural divides are especially intriguing. But are they true cleavages? 🤔
Very happy to see our book "Trigger Points" finally out in English, and fully open access!
Hopefully a useful resource for anyone working on polarization, class, inequality, migration, diversity, and climate change.
We are hiring! Let me know if you have any questions about working with us.
Our book Trigger Points is now out in open access. Huge thanks to Mike Savage for a terrific foreword and to Michèle Lamont, Silja Häusermann and Daniel Ziblatt for their kind words.

Why do our societies seem so deeply divided when most citizens actually occupy a broad political middle ground?
@steffenmau.bsky.social, @thomaslux.bsky.social & @lwestheuser.bsky.social unpack this paradox in Trigger Points, pub. today @brisunipress.bsky.social, Foreward @mikesavagelse.bsky.social

Obwohl es genau darum geht: Rassismus.
