This thing is wide. Not clear where it will focus more than others. I got the watch out here in Fairfax, about 20 miles west of the city.

Severe thunderstorm watch now in place thru 11 pm.
Main timeframe in and around Beltway looks like 6-10 pm. Dangerous lightning, scattered wind gusts to around 70 mph, and isolated hail or a brief tornado all possible.
