For the latest instalment of Postcards from Phin, Phin visits Dysart in County Wicklow, Ireland, the family home of architect Tom de Paor. Dysart is an idiosyncratic collection of concrete agricultural buildings and landscaped gardens that form “a living laboratory of architectural experimentation.” The site is full of symbolism and playful flourishes: there’s gravel in the shower room, glass insulation in the bedroom and monolithic found objects and mysterious shapes strewn around the gardens, which are part Hadrian’s villa, part Jurassic Park, part Prospect Cottage.🇮🇪 Join Phin for a first-look at this fearless and playful Irish homestead.Click the link in bio to watch the full tour.Film by @phinharper
