This has been something I've been meaning to write for quite some time and the Homer contretemps gave it the opportunity.
The thing I most wanted to draw out is that it isn't one fool on Twitter with a helmet, but a radicalization pipeline designed to lead antiquity-curious young men into fascism.

Gearing up to teach Detective: City of Angels to my colleagues! It’s my favorite game from @vanrydergames.bsky.social and that’s saying a lot.
I truly relished The Cut Line. This book was short, but I took my time with it and it paid off. What a lovely meditation on finding yourself while alone in nature.
We had not one, not two, but THREE dogs at work today and that basically makes it a perfect day.
