Corb Lund is delivering the citizen petition against mining on the Eastern slopes of the Rockies -aka the #WaterNotCoal petition- to the Alberta electoral office this afternoon. Legally they have enough signatures to force the government to either pass legislation or put it to a referendum.
We have details of just how bad a deal the privatization scheme Stephen Harper forced on Edmonton is.
The private contractor is charging us so much that in just two years of running the Valley Line ourselves we can pay the entire 30-year termination fee.
The waste is absurd.
