Congrats on the progress!
Just submitted my PhD thesis on algorithms for fast, large-scale k-mer-based sequence analysis. It's now available to read at phd.martayan.org
Take a look and feel free to share!

Exciting times
We definitely will not switch from sup anytime soon! 😟 @nanoporetech.com
salmon 2.0 (the rust re-write) is now live! It's also the version you get if you install via bioconda.
This is a from-scratch rewrite in rust, and the base for future development. I'll post a more detailed thread tomorrow, but you can read the docs here combine-lab.github.io/salmon/

I'd gladly help!
Doing a linear stretch on these images shows how dramatic the "edits" were, revealing the deception in clear terms.
This should be a complete scandal for Thermo Fisher and more people in the biosciences should be talking about it.
Rob Patro
The Thermo Fisher situation keeps getting worse. We've now collected 450+ problematic images presented as verification data in TF's antibody catalog. This includes:
🖌️ Dozens more images with duplications or painting
🖨️ Hundreds of blots that all share the same background (behold slideshow below)

A dense and very instructive resource on many recent k-mer algorithms and implementations, with algo/archi/data co-designs. I feel so lucky to work with Igor.
