Today we wish a happy 96th birthday to Sneh Bhargava, who in 1984 became the first woman to direct Delhi's All India Institute of Medical Sciences, appointed by Indira Gandhi. She pushed hard for investment in CT scanner and ultrasound technology, and to combat financial abuses in patient referrals
