I could never get into it, much as I tried. I feel like, coming from TTRPGs (and usually being a Game Master), the lack of reaction from the world / setting to my actions stops me from getting enjoyment out of it.
Said this before, but I really envy Warcraft roleplayers and their tenacity to keep enjoying the franchise through the lens of their OCs, especially at points when the story is massively disappointing.
