The Mandalorian and Grogu is a TREAT, it is DELICIOUS, it is so fun and wild and surprising and sweet. It has ROTJ vibes for me, with critters and different set pieces and laughs and peril. Do not miss seeing it in the theater. Take your kids. This is what Star Wars is all about!!

It’s the 4th week of the semester and my Star Wars Language Ideologies class has had about 90% attendance (not required) and is still GAINING new students.

In small victories, I answered the phone the other day with a “Frau Ross” and my 5yo loudly interrupted “Frau DOKTOR Ross”
“S’il vous plait, das heißt ‘please’” is a real sentence I said to my daughter this week.
(She’s starting to recognize acronyms!)
This has just happened to me AGAIN and I had to say ‘sorry, when your email arrived at 9:30pm on Thursday I was already away from work. I then enjoyed the federal holidays on Friday and Monday and still did not read my email. GUESS YOU’LL HAVE TO WAIT’
