1) the flag taken away was the pre revolution "Shah's flag" which was already banned pre tournament
2) I think they should be allowed to fly whatever flag and its a stupid thing to do
3)Calling this the "Iranian flag" is wither wildly ignorant or wildly bad faith
I feel like I can spot this more and more on social media, particularly on X. But I worry others can't.

Cutting the BBC’s budget while banning kids from social media is something of a counsel of despair.
Of course kids don’t listen to Money Box Live and Crossing Continents much, but you could see the ban as an editorial opportunity. If you believe it’ll work, it’s hours each week for kids to fill.
