Had a strange experience yesterday in Salem, Massachusetts where the town had a very normal tourism morning then by 11:00 AM was swamped by kilt-wearing Scots who came up from Boston in force after the World Cup game.
(They were all very nice and the Salem tourism folks were happy to have them.)

I’m too young to have seen RAIDERS in a theater, but I grew up with it on VHS.
Finally got the grand old theater experience at the Paramount in Austin, when they ran a print as part of their summer film series (in 2011 for the 30th, I think?).
It happened to be on my birthday and I was overjoyed.
I was 16 during my last visit to Salem, Massachusetts, so I’ve noticed the following changes over the last 25 years:
1) City and NPS especially trying to move beyond “Witch City” to emphasize the maritime history.
2) I can drink now and have money for a hotel.
3) Lot of marijuana dispensaries.
