I was so pleased to see this Whiskered Tern on its brief visit to Berkshire this week. Found by Andy Merrick. This photo by Dave Rimes really shows it in all its glory. My 202nd Berkshire bird and what a cracker!

Redemption! 21 years after I Ieft Moor Green Lakes in near darkness 5 minutes too early to see Berkshire's first and only Whiskered Tern come into roost, I wasted no time getting along to see Andy Merrick's top find at Woolhampton GPs in the evening rush-hour! 😅
