I actually really recommend the fan remake Metroid planets. It has a tonne of quality of life features but does its best to preserve the original game while sanding down a lot of the bugs (idk who likes being killed going into doors the identical areas make it hard to map out too)

I think the answer is Super Mario RPG
I don't think they could've handled that any better, honestly
It's kind of a miracle they didn't compromise much, or anything at all
