I had the immense pleasure of creating a portrait of Marjane Satrapi for the NYT Book Review back in 2021. It accompanied the original review of Persepolis from 2003. I came to know her work through it. If you're in NY, it will be reprinted in an upcoming tribute edition of the paper. 🕊
