Ended up finishing Mating Season out of curiosity.
Short review: first episodes are ROUGH and most of the humor was not my cup of tea but I wouldn't say I hated it, I liked the episodes that focused more on Fawn/Penelope since they had most of the setting/story for the season.

Ep 3-4 that focus on Penelope and Fawn's previous relationships and Ep 9-10 that focus more on learning to let yourself grieve from a break-up or still missing an ex you loved were definitely my favorite of the bunch.
If you're willing to stomach the humor I'd say give it a shot!
