Have you ever wondered what an APS Fellow is? APS Fellows have made exceptional contributions to physics, as recognized by their professional peers. DBIO-nominated Fellows have made these advances to biological physics through significant research, service, or pedagogy.
The awardee receives $1,500, as well as travel/registration reimbursement and an invited talk at the Global Physics Summit.
Do you know about the Delbruck Prize? The Max Delbruck Prize in Biological Physics is the highest APS honor in our field and recognizes outstanding achievement in biological physics research.
The annual prize consists of $10,000 and travel to the Global Physics Summit, where a special Prize Session is convened for the awardee.
Many DBIO legends are Delbruck Prize-winners, and there are many more deserving candidates out there!
Do you know about the Award for Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Research in Biological Physics? It recognizes doctoral thesis research of outstanding quality and achievement in any area of experimental, computational, engineering, or theoretical biological physics.
Looking for a way to support DBIO (and meet other biophysicists) at the APS Global Physics Summit?
