Great to see this out - comparative PET imaging & biodistribution of 3 agents targeting avB6 integrin - a highly upregulated tumour marker associated with invasion & metastasis. Congrats 1st author Emma Swift & Snr author @drbayliss.bsky.social - great collab with John Marshall @qmbci.bsky.social

The in vivo biodistributions of 89Zr-labelled αvβ6-targeted agents were investigated in mice bearing bilateral αvβ6-positive and -negative human tumour xenografts by longitudinal micro-PET imaging. Peptide and antibody-based radiotracers were found to be effective at distinguishing αvβ6-expressing from non-expressing tumours in vivo, whereas an αvβ6-specific virus receptor-binding domain was not.
