In response to questions, the UN SR on #RightToFood @michaelfakhri.bsky.social highlighted importance of addressing corporate accountability: the same actors that caused climate change are the same actors that have all the ownership of the land.
We need to hold corporations accountable.
In his last interactive dialogue at #HRC61, UN Special Rapporteur @michaelfakhri.bsky.social strongly urges States:
"Work with your people. Take human rights seriously. Take land defenders seriously. Give people the right to land, and they will protect their land."
