This is crucial. There are some really interesting hybrid video game live events out there, but they need more support. I also think of MOMI's exhibition of Auriea Harvey's digital art and games, which was incredible and got a rave NYT review.

There’s also an entire conversation to be had about real-world events for video games which I think are entirely necessary if we’re really going to be part of the culture — games must be cultural objects that people meet and mingle around, culture relies on community which cannot be purely digital
