Happy six weeks post surgery to me! I celebrated being cleared to exercise by hoeing, digging, repeatedly pushing a wheelbarrow full of clods of dirt uphill, and just because: going for my first lil jog in a year. It feels AMAZING to have energy and be mostly pain free! Pls keep it up? #NayeHealth

It's the season of buds and blooms. The aquilegia that survived last year is thriving. I've got my first-ever dahlia bud! The Charles Darwin in the flowerbed has made its first bud, and the potted Alex Rose is going all out and had SEVEN at my latest count. Hopefully they'll survive! #GardenPosting
