What did we find?
1. Appeals to communitarianism worked best to reduce support for violent extremism + was most resistant to counter-messaging
2. Surprisingly, we find that a religious message was not especially effective
3. Nor was a "tough" message that emphasized the dangers/costs of terrorism
The social science community lost a good soul this week. Rest well, @raulpachecovega.bsky.social
