A naive 1D solver for the cylindrical portion of the O’Neill cylinder. Diurnal forcing of the centerline sun, water wants to stay at the rim, the centerline is near uninhabitable from co2 buildup. A pervasive fog pervades the low reaches. Some sliders and charts here biome.mino.mobi/atmosphere/

So once you solve for ecosystems, you have to figure out weather and that’s the frontier. Earth like convection is dead (the center of the cylinder is not cold) and I think it’s boring to force the thing to be earth like. So now I have to invent a water cycle for the interior of my O’Neill cylinder
