O’Neil atmospheres. You naturally get a thermal gradient in the center, hotter at center, colder at edge. If you want a naturalistic inner surface, the water cycle is broken. Condensation does not happen at elevation, it’s hot up there! One solution. Pour water over the light rod along centerline.

so the concept is to build an Oneill cylinder solver. my thought is that the hull is a megatruss that is structural, and binding cables span the interior (think microtubules in the cell) to boost rigidity. hoop.mino.mobi/cylinder
