Now we have Junior Prof. Robin Weiss from Université Caen Normandie, France. He will be showing their work on the main group catalysis enabled by chalcogen bonding. Interesting chemistry coming up !
For the final plenary and last talk of the symposium, we are happy to welcome Prof. Simon Aldridge (@GroupAldridge) from @ox.ac.uk . He will be talking about their group’s pioneering contribution in group 13 and group 14 elements chemistry for unleashing new reactivity patterns.
We are back after the coffee break. Now we have a pleanary lecture from Prof. Jennifer Garden from @edinburghuni.bsky.social will be telling us about harnessing heterometallic synergy in catalytic pathways towards sustainable polymers. The floor is yours Jennifer !
For the final talk of the session, we have Dr. @pierrebeaujean.bsky.social from LCT-UNamur, who will demonstrate how quantum chemistry can be used to improve electrolyte materials and develop new batteries, a significant step towards a climate-neutral society.
