Meanwhile in Edinburgh, Labour, Lib Dem and Tory councillors have capitulated to a loud motoring minority by voting to remove modal filters on a Quiet Route - a main cycling route for the south of the city - because an 'incorrectly worded' statutory notice might leave them open to legal challenge.
Extremely disappointed the @edinburghgreens.bsky.social addendum on Greenbank-Meadows Quiet Route, which would have preserved the modal filters in the Braid estate, has been voted down 6-5 at committee.
