When Linda Steg won the prestigious Stevin Prize in 2020, @rug.nl also gifted our group with a sailing trip onthe Nicolaas Mulerius clipper. Last week, we set sail on the Lauwersmeer and were treated to stunning views of the wide open Dutch landscape and rare wildlife from the water.
On a stormy morning in June, 25 members of our research group headed to the northern Dutch village of Zoutkamp and set sail for what turned out to be a sunny and windy day on the Lauwersmeer.
