Very cool PhD project on offer at the University of Zurich
Zurich is a fantastic place to do palaeo, plus Switzerland is an amazing place place to live.
What's not to like?
The scope for our session is broad and can include any taxa and topic, including taxonomy, taphonomy, funct. morphology etc.
Let us know if you're interested or have any questions! :)
A great event and a fantastic start to #2025SVP
Thanks to the presenters and organisers!
This #FossilFriday I am reaching out to possible attendees of Paleo4Alps in Bolzano, It, 19th-23rd July 2026
Myself and Andrea Villa are organisers of the “Paleoherpetology of the Alps and peri-alpine basins” symposium and we are on the lookout for contributors (1/2)
New paper alert!
Something a little different for me, we investigated how plastic coffee stirrers degrade in fluvial-simulated environments by analysing their microscopic surface textures; the same techniques I use to reconstruct the diets of extinct animals!
