The scientific community has rightfully rallied against OMB's proposed rule for replacing science with politics. It's important to see clearly what those politics are: the end of values of diversity and inclusion, and the destruction and erasure of trans people.
Solidarity is the only way forward.
1. There has been a major new federal rule proposed governing ALL federal grants.
A federal grant recipient will be deemed ineligible if the recipient advances "gender ideology," or denies that "sex is binary."
This includes hospitals, schools, nonprofits.
