I’ve been doing a rewatch of Six Feet Under and a few things I noticed:
-in season 1, there’s a strip club scene where “Somethin’ Hot” by the Afghan Whigs is playing in the background
-young Adam Scott plays one of David’s boyfriends
-Nate talks about both Trader Joe’s and Erewhon (circa 2001!!!)
Earlier when I was in the backyard, I could hear someone in the neighborhood practicing the accordion outside. Eventually they started playing an accordion rendition of “itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini.”
