- police presence was minimal (personally didn’t see any)
- I didn’t need to plan days around taking transit, it was frequent and reliable
- stayed out late and didn’t have to worry
For what it’s worth, Vienna is more dense than yyc, but with a similar pop.
Went to Vienna for a week. Here’s a few things about their transit system:
- no turnstiles, fare payment is an honour system
- annual pass is the price of 2 monthly Calgary Transit passes, and includes more modes/frequency
