According to Lynn, Somalia’s national IQ is 68, based on a single sample of kids living in a refugee camp in Kenya
Congrats to all those journal editors & peer reviewers who legitimised Lynn’s “national IQ” database by letting it into their journals. Truly, it’s a victory for academic freedom to publish papers which claim that children living in a refugee camp constitute a nationally representative sample 👏👏

Evolving Evolution is ... an invitation to think more philosophically about fundamental issues concerning the scope and coherence of evolutionary explanations, idealization in science, causation, organism-environment relationship, and the nature of selection.
Another great review. Thank you Simon
Race is not a biological category: challenging this misconception will help tackle racism in healthcare.

Proud to have been part of the panel that decided this. Wish I could force everyone in Britain to read this. We would be a saner country. @hopenothate.org.uk
New paper out (Biology Letters, OA): in primates, male-biased size differences are better predicted by between-group competition than by mating system. Time to look beyond the group in studies of sexual selection.
