Maybe it's me, but seems most news stories on AI in higher ed take the side of students, portray them as victims & profs as baddies. This is yet another. Buried in this are details on the extent of violations. And yes, AI standards will--& should be expected to--vary btwn courses depending on focus.
As universities crack down on AI, extreme monitoring policies and false accusations are fueling a deep mistrust between professors and students.
