Whalefall? More like "Well, hello - I look forward to watching that movie in a theater this fall."
(The joke works better when I said it in a funny voice to my dog after watching the trailer)
It's been a while since I've read a popcorn comic book as fun as GEIGER. As somebody who fell in love with comics during the '00s, this is the kind of splashy mix of superhero bombast and heart-on-the-sleeve emotions I've missed in my funny books. Big Michael Bay-vibes, and that's a good thing!
I wrote a thousand words for a new project, ate a bag of Voodoo chips and watched one of my all time favorite movies, THE HUDSUCKER PROXY.
Tonight was a good night.
I revisited THE HUDSUCKER PROXY last night. A perfect film, from head to toe. I kind of want to rip the audio from my Blu-ray and play it under my pillow at night, so I subconsciously learn to talk like Jennifer Jason Leigh uses in the film.
But, then again, that gag's got whiskers on it.
My second graphic novel hits stores this August, but did you know you can read my first comic for FREE?!?!
The book @andreaspetersen.bsky.social calls "goddamn spectacular" is available to read for 100 percent free right this very moment thanks to @globalcomix.com.

A big thank you to Keaton Patterson for organizing a kickass panel for tonight’s Bleak Week screening of PET SEMATARY. We were joined by @comptonwrites.bsky.social, @bevvincent.bsky.social, @claymcleod.bsky.social and @ericvespe.bsky.social for a fantastic discussion of all things Stephen King.
Good read alert!!!!!!!!!!!
gonna chat about pet semetery in texas
Last night’s Pet Semetery panel was such a blast. Immense thanks to Rob at the River Oaks movie theater for flying me down to Texas (!?) to talk about a book I love, to Keaton and Brazos Books for moderating and selling our books, to my fellow panelists Johnny Compton, Bev Vincent and Eric Vespe…
