Did an overnight to the Middle Fork .
Rest In Power David Hockney.
I got to see an exhibition of his work in early 2018 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
I really loved his early gay work, of course the iconic pools, and the vibrancy and life and brightness of his later works.
Here are some bad photos from my camera roll:
www.metmuseum.org/exhibitions/... here is more on the exhibition I saw.
The Portland Art Museum has some of Hockney’s work up through late July of this year as well: portlandartmuseum.org/event/david-...
Hockney’s paintings predate Piss Christ by a few decades (and the NEA itself by a few years), but clearly I really do love a bit of sacrilege lololol

“Tim Meyer is a captain with Shoreline police. He said he “totally concurs” that the city’s infrastructure and investments deserve the credit for the safer atmosphere on Shoreline’s stretch of Aurora Avenue.”
Happy Friday, Seattle!
This made me so happy yesterday! A whole family passed me on bikes on our beautiful new protected bike path on E Marginal Way!
