The thing about this, as someone whoâs very versed in LLMs and related technologies, is that the mainstream, mass-marketed versions of âAIâ are *worthy* of contempt! Even if you like this tech, why would you advocate for such shitty versions of it? The Internet didnât *start out* being shitty!
Obviously the right thing to do. Just feel sorry for the authors of those narrowly rejected 100 papers that could have been accepted instead should the hallucinated references have been discovered earlier...
