This isn’t about public displays of gratitude, really: send them a message, or call them, or if you’re lucky, tell them in person.

It's all very well blocking time out in your calendar to do things, but when you just let it go by and then see the notification that you're late for a meeting, it's not great for your anxiety levels

And an equally enormous loss: EThOS remains down, with plans to resurrect only a hugely degraded version, without downloads.
Access to the PhD theses here was crucial. I would always search it on a topic, because these PhD works can be really good. And they don't need to be a book to be cited.

Troubling reports out of England of 30 year-olds being socially transitioned into same-sex attraction without parental consent! One can only hope that the UK bans coming out as gay until a child is at least 35!
If you are based in the UK, please do consider writing an email to your local library about how important LGBTQ+ books, and representation is. There are several councils in the UK suggesting that books should be banned and that LGBTQ+ books are harmful. This must be challenged at all costs.
