The Norwegian Nobel Committee has awarded its Peace Prize to far-right Venezuelan politician, Maria Corina Machado.
A towering figure in Venezuelan politics, Machado was a leader in the U.S.-backed 2002 coup that briefly deposed President Hugo Chavez.
