And from a six foot nothing dude who can barely outjump the Manhattan phone book. Whatever superlatives we’ve tossed his way in the past have all fallen short. It’s beyond my comprehension other than to say he’s one of one. We’re so truly blessed to have witnessed… that. I still can’t believe it

Sometimes it’s simple. There was one story all season:
When the Knicks are allowed to hang around in a game, they win. I am nothing as a basketball mind. But this heuristic never failed me and we rode it to glory.
I’m crying, I have no more words.
This team decided to be the best version of itself this season, as individuals and as a collective. This is a legitimately inspiring human story and I can’t believe it’s MY TEAM it’s the KNICKS.
I promise to write something articulate about this in the next couple days
Right now I’ve got nothing. I’m in love with life. I watched it with my dad and my daughter and my wife and it made it all worth it

Nothing could stop this team. They were always gonna do it.
In the end, after all our fretting about lineup, rotation, picks and strategies and roster optimization, none of that mattered. It was just Jalen. He willed them—in a way that no one has since Michael fucking Jordan—willed them to victory. He refused to let anything but a chip be the final outcome
