Status update:
I'm still dealing with the aftermath and healing from this, and unable to work much at all.
What little energy I have is dedicated to healing, attending testing appointments, and running support for my partner while she works to support us.

My new position is I don't trust a Democrat that isn't advocating for the immediate overthrow of Capitalism unless they also advocate for permanent reparations to trans and POC people for the emotional and material damages inflicted on us now and historically.
Trans women's status as so dehumanized as to not be worth defending is long established, but even so this is pretty fucking brazen.
After an assault that the principal was warned about in advance, a trans woman is suing her high school for not taking any action to protect her.
