In 1902, J. P. Morgan met Theodore Roosevelt & his AG Philander Knox in the White House after they filed an anti-trust lawsuit:
JP "If we’ve done anything wrong, send your man to my man and they can fix it up."
TR "That can't be done."
Knox "We don't want to fix it up, we want to stop it."
