Obama's campaign's treatment of McCain was, uh, completely unremarkable? Like they mostly ignored him and ran against Bush, pointed out that the economy was falling apart, and that the Iraq war was unpopular. And against Romney, it was basically "lol this guy is super rich and kind of out of touch."
