As none of my bank's customers have a history with the account then its considered high risk.
I rather expected them to say something along the lines of: "yeah sure go ahead, but you take the risk", rather than outright block.
On the topic of enshittification, I am basically unable to transfer and pay a tradesman because he has a new monzo business account.
My bank simply says "no, too risky", despite the poor sod working his socks off in my garden. Consequently, I need to fanny about with cash for next few days.
