So I feel like Satoshi's and Shigeru's rivalry's kind of already run its course...? I'm not invested in the two of them *at all* by this point, and I guess maybe the show's writers felt the same way since Dr. Ookido's grandson only shows up in one more episode before the Johto League starts.
