Drawn back by a wave of post-US-election migration from X spawning many follow notifications. It’s more populated here now, but is it busy with interesting things? I don’t know if I have enough desire to find out. I think the window in which I might have really embraced social media is well closed.

A thought about bsky in its current form. It feels like a room that’s not so densely crowded that you can’t be bothered speaking and wouldn’t be heard if you tried. But it also feels like that cannot last - either it becomes crowded or people to talk to leave because social media is about the crowd
