PS: Imo, the reason Asherah may have outlasted other deities is that she was Yahweh’s consort, an accepted PART of His cult, not a challenge to Him. Worshiping her was part of worshiping Him, & done at the same sanctuary. But as monolatry moved to monotheism, she could no longer be tolerated.
