1/2 I have signed a letter to the Government, alongside over 100 MPs, calling for the UK to urgently reopen and scale up medical evacuations for critically ill children in Gaza.
1/2 South East Water left thousands of homes in Kent without access to water on the hottest days of the year so far. Yet another shocking example of the failure of privatisation.
2/4 We talked about their campaign to stop housing developers from donating to political parties. They are deeply concerned that that developers have a seat at the table, while renters and those needing affordable housing are being left behind.

Governments are being forced to spend more and more money tackling the day-to-day failings of this failed economic model.
The solution? More investment and public control over those basics of life - water, housing, energy.

4/4 If passed, it would stop property developers from making political donations to political parties. It would be a simple but important step towards making sure housing policy is shaped in the public interest, not by those with the deepest pockets.

2/2 Given the scale of the crisis in the water sector, a purely regulatory approach is like putting a complaints box on the Titanic.
Public ownership is the only real solution, as I told the Water Minister in parliament yesterday.
2/2 We cannot ignore the scale of suffering. The war has devastated Gaza's health system and thousands of children are trapped without access to life-saving treatment.
The UK has a moral duty to act.
Let's stop Rosebank for good.
