- earth should be seen as just another region where the war is taking place. so even if elita holds the matrix now, why does it make sense to declare anyone staying on earth to no longer be considered autobots? why can't there just be two armies with a leader for each one?

- but, then this is presented like optimus is abandoning the war entirely? there's still decepticons on earth, heck, MEGATRON is on earth. there's an energy crisis and elita flat-out says earlier in the comic that earth's resources could help. -
so based on what I've heard, here's what I don't get about skybound's current plot direction:
elita feels abandoned by optimus on cybertron because even after reestablishing contact, he wants to stay and fight on earth despite there still being conflict on their home planet. that I can understand -
